Auditor – Tax Assessment

About the role
The Auditor will work under close supervision to research, gather and analyse tax‑related information, draft reports and participate in meetings. The role focuses on assessing SME tax liabilities, reviewing historical tax records and ensuring compliance with Saudi tax regulations and audit procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and update assessment templates and audit tools to support timely SME tax valuation.
- Review audit files, validate sales, accounts receivable, import and inventory records, and prepare high‑risk case reports.
- Communicate with taxpayers for clarification of declarations and coordinate with the Legal Support Department to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
- Submit audit reports for review, incorporate feedback, and finalize audit results.
- Stay informed on industry developments and new tax practices across sectors such as insurance, telecommunications and consumer goods.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax audit or related financial assessment.
- Competencies: Tax audit planning, tax audit techniques, broad taxation awareness, audit management, professionalism, collaboration and communication, results orientation, customer focus, and adaptability to change and innovation.
