About the role
The Banquets Manager leads the banquet team at a luxury Ritz‑Carlton property, ensuring every event meets the brand’s Gold Standards. This role combines operational oversight, financial control, and guest‑focused service to deliver memorable experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and motivate banquet staff while delivering high‑quality service.
- Monitor and control financial, administrative and asset‑protection responsibilities.
- Manage banquet operations including supply needs, inventory, and liquor‑cost control.
- Schedule and supervise banquet service staff to meet service standards and maximize profit.
- Act as liaison between banquet team and kitchen to ensure seamless event execution.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum two years of experience in event management, food & beverage or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and develop staff.
