Business Development Engineer – Construction Services

About the role

Indigo Builders in Madinah is seeking a Technical Business Development / Sales Engineer to expand market opportunities in anti‑termite treatment, waterproofing, insulation and concrete treatment services. The role involves generating leads, building relationships with contractors, consultants, developers and facility‑management firms, and guiding projects from quotation to award and collection.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business leads and identify project opportunities.
• Visit contractors, consultants, developers and project sites to conduct initial surveys.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and technical/commercial offers.
• Follow up RFQs, tenders and submitted quotations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Coordinate with technical and execution teams.
• Maintain a database of prospects, projects and follow‑ups.
• Support vendor registrations and pre‑qualification submissions.
• Achieve monthly sales and business‑development targets.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering or related technical qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of marketing/sales experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian construction market is an advantage.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written).
• Existing relationships with contractors, consultants or developers are a major plus.
• Valid Saudi driving licence and personal vehicle (car and fuel allowance provided).

What we offer

• SAR 4,500 – 5,000 basic salary per month, depending on experience.
• Performance‑based sales commission.
