Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our freight forwarding business in Dammam and the Eastern Province. You will be responsible for generating new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and meeting sales targets across sea, air, and land logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Generate leads and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market visits.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Promote sea freight, air freight, land transportation, customs clearance, and logistics solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales opportunities.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand logistics requirements.
• Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to deliver competitive solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and submit regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding services.
• Proven track record of generating new customers and meeting sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Existing network of customers in Dammam/Eastern Province is a plus.
• Valid Saudi driving license and Saudi market experience preferred.
• Immediate availability highly desired.
