Business Development Manager – MEA

About the role

Belden is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Middle East and Africa region to drive early‑stage specification influence on large hospitality and infrastructure programmes in Saudi Arabia and the wider MEA market. You will work closely with consultants and design firms to embed Belden solutions into network, OT and cybersecurity architectures before the request‑for‑quotation stage.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage key consultants and design firms upstream of the RFQ process.
• Shape network, OT and cybersecurity architectures to align with Belden standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants to secure early visibility on long‑cycle, specification‑driven projects.
• Generate a qualified pre‑RFQ pipeline and feed commercial teams with well‑qualified opportunities.
• Track mega‑project developments across the MEA region and report progress to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent commercial experience.
• Proven track record in a commercial role, consultant engagement, or specification selling within infrastructure projects.
• Experience working in a medium‑to‑large international organization with matrixed, cross‑functional teams.
• Agile mindset with strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional relevant language.
