Business Development Representative – Middle East (Arabic)

About the role

Proofpoint is looking for a Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for its Field Sales team across the Middle East. The role combines inbound lead follow‑up with outbound prospecting to connect the sales organization with key influencers and decision‑makers in target accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound leads, converting interest into sales‑accepted opportunities.
• Gather actionable intelligence on competition, projects, and purchase intent for assigned accounts.
• Execute email and cold‑calling campaigns to create new sales prospects.
• Maintain accurate communication records in Salesforce.com.
• Schedule product demonstrations between the Commercial Sales team and potential customers.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Highly motivated with a competitive personality and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, phone etiquette, and organisational abilities.
• Previous success in a goal‑driven, sales‑oriented environment is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience using Salesforce.com for lead management and tracking.
