Business Development Specialist

About the role

ONFTECH AL ARABIA is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join its Riyadh team. The role focuses on identifying and pursuing new opportunities with banks, fintechs and enterprise clients, supporting the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure while working under senior BD leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities across banks, fintechs and enterprises.
• Build and maintain client relationships under senior supervision.
• Participate in client meetings, present solutions, document requirements and follow up on action items.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, MoUs and other commercial documents.
• Support negotiations by gathering information and coordinating paperwork.
• Conduct market research on fintech/RegTech trends and stay aware of Saudi regulatory bodies (SAMA, CMA, ZATCA).
• Coordinate with Product, Projects and Tech teams to relay client requirements.
• Track opportunities using CRM and BD tools and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Represent ONFTECH at exhibitions, workshops and external meetings.
• Assist marketing initiatives such as content creation, case studies and branding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, IT or related field.
• 3+ years of business development, sales or account management experience in FinTech, banking or enterprise technology in KSA.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi banking ecosystem and regulatory environment (SAMA, CMA, ZATCA).
• Proven track record in enterprise B2B sales cycles and closing deals with financial institutions.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs and handling commercial negotiations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently.
