Business Operations Specialist

About the role

The Business Operations Specialist supports the Export Markets business by managing the administrative and operational functions for CooperVision’s legal entity in Saudi Arabia and the broader regional commercial processes. This hybrid role combines statutory compliance, distributor reporting, accounts receivable, and event coordination to keep the KSA entity fully operational and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the KSA legal entity in good standing, handling commercial registration, MISA, municipality and health authority licences, and ensuring timely renewals.
• Administer Saudi government e‑services (Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem, Absher/Nafath, Mudad/WPS) for employee registrations, iqama and visa processing, and Saudization monitoring.
• Collect, validate and consolidate distributor sell‑out, inventory and forecast data across the Export Markets network and produce monthly regional reports.
• Support accounts receivable by monitoring overdue balances, driving escalations and liaising with Finance and Credit Control.
• Coordinate contracting activities, including distributor agreements, renewals, amendments and maintenance of the regional contract register.
• Organise customer events and professional education activities, managing logistics, budgets and compliance with expense policies.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in business operations, commercial support or legal entity administration, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven track record of maintaining statutory and licensing compliance for a Saudi Arabian entity.
• Strong analytical, reporting and organisational skills with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
