Business Process Monitoring & Improvement Director

About the role

The Business Process Monitoring & Improvement Director is responsible for overseeing the assessment, documentation, and enhancement of ZATCA's business processes. The role ensures alignment with organizational strategy, compliance with international standards, and achievement of defined SLAs and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the operational plan for Business Process Monitoring & Improvement in line with the Organizational Excellence business plan.
• Manage budgeting discussions with top management, monitor budget utilization, and propose initiatives that generate positive financial impact.
• Revise and communicate guidelines, templates, and BPA updates in coordination with IT & Digitization functions.
• Lead the documentation, analysis, and approval of prioritized processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Design and execute process improvement plans based on assessment results, and monitor maturity levels with corrective actions.
• Define and track SLAs and KPIs for all processes, ensuring adherence and reporting on performance.
• Coordinate technical updates with the BIC vendor and oversee implementation of platform enhancements.
• Build internal capabilities through training, awareness programs, and collaboration with national and international BPM firms.
• Participate in talent acquisition, mentor direct reports, set performance objectives, and foster a high‑performance work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent (required); Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Advanced competency in strategic and business planning, quality management, policy making, data analytics, business excellence, and change management.
• Proficiency in professionalism, collaboration, communication, results orientation, customer focus, and leading by example.
