Butler – Luxury Hospitality Service

About the role

The Butler will deliver world‑class, personalized service to guests at Raffles Hotel Jeddah, ensuring every stay reflects the brand’s elegance and attention to detail. This role blends guest interaction, coordination with hotel departments, and meticulous management of in‑room amenities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and provide a detailed orientation of rooms and facilities.
• Coordinate room service, food and beverage delivery, and removal of used items.
• Assist housekeeping in maintaining room standards and oversee guest‑room servicing.
• Maintain guests’ personal items, clothing, and wardrobes in a clean, organized manner.
• Handle valet requests, perform simple garment pressing, and manage luggage unpacking/packing.
• Keep the Butler’s pantry tidy, stock suite bars, and ensure all supplies are charged.
• Provide local information, make bookings and reservations, and support restaurant, reception, luggage, and back‑of‑house operations as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Butler or in a comparable luxury hospitality role.
• Proven supervisory experience managing a team of service professionals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with guests and internal departments.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and discretion skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Professional Butler certification and familiarity with Middle Eastern customs are advantageous.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency highly desirable.

• Proficiency in household management software.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
