Buyer – Procurement (Saudi National)

About the role

As a Buyer in Saipem’s Supply Chain Department, you will support the procurement of goods, services and sub‑contracts, ensuring compliance with cost, time and quality requirements while adhering to corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) based on purchase requests and support vendors in preparing technical and commercial proposals while maintaining confidentiality.
• Lead commercial and economic negotiations with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders or sub‑contracts using standard General Purchase Terms and Conditions and any project‑specific conditions, managing deviations as needed.
• Maintain and archive contractual documentation in the centralized system.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients and suppliers, leveraging strong interpersonal skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or related field.
• Saudi national with 2‑3 years of experience as a Buyer in an oil & gas company or EPC contractor.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and Incoterms.
