Chef de Partie Bakery – Six Senses Southern Dunes

About the role

The Chef de Partie Bakery will support Six Senses Southern Dunes in delivering sustainable, wellness‑focused culinary experiences. You will work within a luxury hotel environment, ensuring bakery products meet the brand’s high standards of quality, creativity, and responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of bakery items, meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain 100% responsibility for product quality and consistent portion sizes.
• Inspect incoming produce and verify compliance with order sheets and purchasing specifications.
• Ensure proper plate presentation, garnish setup, and adherence to kitchen rules and guidelines.
• Assist in controlling operational budgets and maximizing profitability.
• Record guest complaints, requests and solutions, reporting them to the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
• Follow Six Senses policies on fire safety, hygiene, and overall safety, keeping work areas clean and equipment in good condition.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma/degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of kitchen experience in a full‑service outlet or comparable luxury hotel setting.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.
