Chef de Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join the Food & Beverage team at the First Vignette Collection’s Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel in Saudi Arabia. In this role you will manage a specific kitchen section, ensure high-quality food preparation and uphold food safety standards while supporting smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to hotel recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
• Take ownership of a designated kitchen section such as hot, cold, pastry or grill.
• Maintain food quality, taste, portion control and ensure timely service.
• Check ingredient freshness, manage stock levels and minimise waste.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene and health-and-safety procedures, including proper storage and labeling.
• Support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef with daily operations and coordinate with other kitchen sections.
• Assist with menu development, special events, buffets and train junior kitchen staff.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen, handle pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
