Chef de Partie – Pastry (Luxury Hotel)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie – Pastry to join Jumeirah The Red Sea, a luxury resort within the Jumeirah portfolio. You will work in a high‑end kitchen delivering premium pastry creations that meet the brand’s renowned standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, cooking, and presentation of pastry items, ensuring they meet Jumeirah’s luxury standards.
• Prepare high‑quality food according to approved menus, recipes, and instructions from the Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef.
• Maintain proper portioning, garnishing, and plating for all dishes.
• Ensure mise‑en‑place is freshly prepared, organized, and ready on time.
• Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef with daily service, maintaining consistency and quality.
• Keep the pastry section clean, organized, and compliant with departmental standards.
• Support training of junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and coaching.
• Follow all food hygiene, health‑safety, and HACCP procedures and keep accurate daily records.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel, resort, or high‑end restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, presentation, and kitchen operations.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for culinary excellence.
• Organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Experience supervising or training junior kitchen colleagues.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and commitment to the highest quality standards.
