Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all finance, accounting, governance, and internal control functions. The CFO will drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support executive decision‑making through robust financial planning and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term sustainability initiatives.
• Oversee accounting operations, including reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR and period‑end closing.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, treasury activities and overall financial performance.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard assets.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, governance requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards and executive insights to senior leadership and the Board.
• Monitor financial KPIs, analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead financial risk management, including liquidity planning and business continuity.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Develop, review and improve finance policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives through financial analysis.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive leadership experience in finance, accounting, planning, budgeting, governance and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, treasury management and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with executive leadership, Boards of Directors and external auditors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and strategic planning skills.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, CFA or MBA are highly desirable.
