Chief Information Security Officer – Cloud Security

About the role

The Cloud Security team at ByteDance safeguards the enterprise cloud platform and services across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As Chief Information Security Officer you will lead the organization’s cybersecurity posture, ensuring compliance with national regulations such as the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls while driving secure innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise‑wide cybersecurity governance aligned with SAMA CSF and NCA ECC.
• Lead risk management, compliance, and audit remediation across all security domains.
• Oversee security operations including monitoring, detection, vulnerability management, IAM and incident response.
• Guide the selection, deployment and governance of security technologies and embed security‑by‑design in infrastructure, applications, cloud and data platforms.
• Manage cyber‑incident response, crisis coordination and post‑incident reviews.
• Ensure third‑party and outsourcing security controls meet regulatory expectations.

Required profile

• Executive‑level leader with deep experience in cybersecurity, cloud security and modern technology environments.
• Proven ability to advise senior management on risk, threats and control effectiveness.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian cybersecurity regulations and standards.
