Chief Operations Officer (COO) – Real Estate Development

About the role

Our client, a leading real‑estate developer in Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Chief Operations Officer to lead day‑to‑day operations across a large development portfolio. The role reports to the executive leadership team and requires strong operational, contractual and compliance expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of up to 10 direct reports.
• Oversee daily operations of a large development area, ensuring high efficiency.
• Lead operational management of all assets, including buildings, infrastructure and public spaces.
• Drive the bidding and tender process for multiple suppliers.
• Supervise service delivery for safety, security, facilities management, maintenance and cleaning.
• Ensure contract management meets service‑level agreements and operational KPIs.
• Communicate with government authorities and external stakeholders to fulfil operational requirements.
• Prepare high‑level reports for the executive leadership team.
• Maintain governance, compliance and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic speaker.
• Proven experience in senior operational management within real‑estate or related sectors.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Ability to interact with government bodies and key external partners.
• Experience delivering executive‑level reporting.
