Chief Private Banking Officer

About the role

The Chief Private Banking Officer will lead the firm’s private wealth business, shaping strategy, growing assets under management and building a trusted advisory relationship with high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, sovereigns and institutional investors across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fundraising initiatives targeting HNW, UHNW, family offices, sovereign and institutional investors, and develop pipelines across Saudi Arabia, the GCC and international markets.
• Serve as senior relationship manager for key clients, delivering personalized wealth‑preservation strategies, overseeing portfolio reviews and ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with investment teams to position and launch tailored products across public equities, fixed income, structured products, real estate, private credit, private equity and private credit.
• Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing private‑wealth team, setting performance standards and fostering a culture of client excellence.
• Define and execute the private‑wealth growth strategy, set annual budgets, monitor industry trends and identify geographic expansion opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, fiduciary standards and internal risk policies in partnership with compliance, legal and operations teams.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, asset management or investment advisory with a proven record of raising capital and growing AUM.
• Established network of investors across Saudi Arabia and the GCC and deep relationships within the private‑wealth ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of alternative investments, private‑market products and sophisticated investment solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business; MBA and professional designations such as CFA, CAIA, CFP or CISI are preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience building and managing senior client‑facing teams.
