Civil / Structural Engineer (Onshore)

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support on‑shore oil and gas projects in Alkhafji, Saudi Arabia. The role assists the Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in reviewing EPC contractor deliverables and ensuring design compliance with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review structural drawings, calculations and specifications submitted by EPC contractors.
• Verify application of project standards, codes and procedures.
• Assess design changes, answer technical queries and coordinate interfaces between disciplines.
• Participate in site visits to confirm design alignment with construction conditions.
• Track deliverable progress and maintain structural documentation records.
• Review construction work methods and verify quality compliance during execution.

Required profile

• Eight (8) years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least four (4) years on major on‑shore oil and gas/petrochemical projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
