Civil/Structural Engineer – Senior & Design (EOI)

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking experienced civil and structural engineers for upcoming projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Two positions are open: a senior engineer to lead design and site activities, and a design engineer to support the senior team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate civil/structural design and site support (Senior Engineer)
• Review and approve technical drawings, calculations, and design deliverables
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development (Senior Engineer)
• Prepare design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation (Design Engineer)
• Support senior engineers in design development and project delivery
• Assist in technical reviews, coordination, and design updates
• Prepare reports, material submittals, and design deliverables

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• For Senior Engineer: 8–10 years of civil/structural design or supervision experience
• For Design Engineer: 3–6 years of design experience in civil/structural engineering
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, reinforced concrete, steel, and infrastructure works
• Familiarity with international codes and multidisciplinary coordination
