Commercial Director – Middle East

About the role

The Commercial Director – Middle East will join Boston Consulting Group’s EMESA Business Development team, reporting to the EMESA Business Development Executive Director. This senior commercial role supports CCOs, Managing Directors, Partners and other senior leaders in negotiating frame contracts and large, complex deals for key clients across the Middle East, with occasional leverage across the broader EMESA region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial negotiations for frame contracts and high‑value, complex deals in the Middle East.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Risk and Global Revenue Management teams to ensure robust contract terms.
• Provide commercial guidance to senior BCG leaders, including CCOs, Managing Directors and Partners.
• Support the EMESA Business Development Executive Director in shaping regional commercial strategy.
• Assist EMESA Commercial Senior Directors across other countries when needed.
• Manage procurement processes for indirect services categories, particularly consultancy spend.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level experience in commercial negotiations and procurement, preferably within professional services or consulting.
• Strong commercial judgement and the credibility to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and demanding stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with finance, legal and risk functions on contract matters.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
