Commercial Manager – Fit Out

About the role

Mace is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead contract and cost management for a large mixed‑use fit‑out programme in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement through to project close‑out, ensuring financial performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute contract documents, warranties, bonds and licences, providing contract administration advice.
• Measure, value and agree completed work and variations, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Control costs, produce monthly post‑contract cost reports and assess cost impacts from design changes or client instructions.
• Negotiate and evaluate contractor and subcontractor claims related to delays, variations and additional costs.
• Advise on practical completion, defect rectification, final certification and negotiate final accounts.
• Lead, coach and develop Cost Consultants and other commercial team members.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, influencing senior decision‑makers and supporting net‑zero carbon objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in quantity surveying or cost management (or equivalent).
• Professional membership (e.g., MRICS/RICS) or working towards it.
• Extensive experience delivering large‑scale fit‑out packages for hospitality, premium residential, entertainment, sports venues or commercial projects.
