Commercial Services Officer

About the role

The Commercial Services Officer oversees commercial service activities within an airport terminal, ensuring high‑quality delivery to concessionaires, partners and passengers while supporting revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day commercial operations in the terminal area.
• Manage relationships with service providers, vendors and partners operating in the terminal.
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, service standards and airport regulations.
• Identify and develop new commercial services to enhance passenger experience and increase non‑aeronautical revenue.
• Conduct inspections and audits of commercial service areas to maintain quality, safety and brand standards.
• Handle operational issues, escalations and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Prepare performance reports, revenue analysis and service‑quality dashboards for management.
• Support negotiation and administration of commercial service contracts.
• Collaborate with F&B, Retail & Duty Free, and Area Allocation teams for integrated operations.
• Liaise with Operations, Security and Facilities departments to ensure smooth functioning of commercial areas.
• Maintain accurate records of agreements, permits and related documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience, including at least one year in an airport environment.
• Fluent Arabic and proficient English language skills.
• Relevant certifications in Commercial Management, Retail Operations or Hospitality are an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Reporting and data analysis capabilities.
• Contract and document management experience.
• Familiarity with commercial operations systems.
