Commissioning Machinery Supervisor (Rotating Equipment)

About the role

A fixed-term Commissioning Machinery Supervisor is needed for the AMIRAL P02&03 project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role covers functional loop checks and interlock/sequence checks of rotating equipment, in line with quality requirements and health, safety and environmental regulations. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027, with a 60-day on-site rotation followed by 10 paid days off and 2 paid travel days.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed commissioning procedures for machinery and packages and for functional tests.
• Check and prepare the commissioning punch list and supervise its closure.
• Monitor that activities follow procedures and requirements.
• Supervise vendor specialists, support them in their work and coordinate with other commissioning supervisors.
• Keep activity records in the logbook.
• Produce signed certificates and hand them over to the QA/QC certification engineer.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent diploma in engineering.
• At least 8 years of relevant field experience, including on the contractor side.
• Relevant experience in construction, modernization or EPC projects such as large refinery plants.
• Similar role covered in at least the last three projects of comparable size.
• Extensive experience in commissioning of rotating equipment.
