Communications Technician

About the role

The Communications Technician supports the hotel’s technology infrastructure by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT and telephone equipment. This part‑time position works on‑site at the Medina property, ensuring reliable service for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate installations, moves, additions, and changes of IT‑related equipment to improve reliability and performance.
• Enter commands and operate controls on computers, peripheral devices, and PBX/telephone switchboard systems.
• Resolve non‑routine hardware, software, and guest‑room internet access issues.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of technology devices and ensure secure access to computer and telephone rooms.
• Follow company policies, report safety concerns, and uphold professional appearance and confidentiality.

Required profile

• At least one year of related work experience in IT or communications equipment.
• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No supervisory experience needed.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
