Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Compliance Specialist will support the design and implementation of THIQAH's compliance framework. You will monitor departmental adherence to laws, regulations and internal policies, helping to protect the organization from legal and operational risk while fostering a strong governance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with government regulations, laws and internal policies and prepare periodic compliance reports.
• Assist in developing and updating compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct periodic compliance audits, document findings and recommend remediation.
• Support risk identification, assessment and the creation of remediation plans.
• Deliver internal awareness and training programs on compliance and governance.
• Track regulatory developments and evaluate their impact on internal processes.
• Coordinate with Legal, Internal Audit and Risk Management to ensure integrated GRC efforts.
• Participate in investigations of policy or regulatory violations and provide recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain compliance KPIs and dashboards for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical compliance experience.
• Professional certification such as CCEP, CRMA or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
