Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager leads all construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role coordinates teams, subcontractors, and resources while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all construction activities from start to finish.
• Manage construction teams, subcontractors, and material resources.
• Control project costs by collecting, analyzing, and advising on cost‑efficiency measures.
• Establish and maintain line‑item cost estimates for preliminaries and consumables.
• Develop strategies to achieve project earnings and maintain cash flow.
• Support value engineering, track changes, and reconcile variations.
• Ensure proper insurance coverage and manage asset‑liability allocation.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could lead to claims or disputes.
• Participate in tendering processes and report discrepancies.
• Handle HR processes including mobilization and demobilization of staff.
• Administer contract, commercial management, and cost planning throughout all phases.
• Implement and enforce safety policies, HSE initiatives, and incident reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in a relevant construction management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional registration (SCE) is mandatory.
• Experience in GCC projects is a plus.
