Consultant – Internal Medicine (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

This permanent position is with a leading private healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia. The Consultant in Internal Medicine will manage clinic schedules, admit patients, and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care within an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage clinics according to the approved rota and admit patients within assigned privileges.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe necessary care.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment, and refer to specialists when required.
• Supervise medical staff, ensure accurate medical records, and perform authorised procedures.
• Approve discharge summaries and ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Lead quality‑improvement initiatives, participate in committees, and uphold ethical standards.
• Provide emergency care, report medico‑legal cases, and educate patients and staff.
• Oversee training for medical trainees and perform other duties within scope.

Required profile

• GMC Specialist Register (CCT, CCST or CESR).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience at Consultant level.
• Willingness to relocate internationally and attend a UK‑based interview.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
