Contracts Advisor - Capital Projects (EPC)

About the role

Eram Talent, a recruitment company under ERAM Holdings, is looking for an experienced Contracts Advisor with expertise in capital projects and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts. The role covers contract negotiation and administration for large-scale capital projects, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across all stages of EPC contracts. The work location is onsite in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and manage EPC contracts and subcontracts for capital projects
• Ensure contract compliance with legal, regulatory and company standards
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies related to contract terms
• Collaborate with project, legal, finance and procurement teams to support contract execution
• Manage contract amendments, claims and dispute resolution processes
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Advise on contractual obligations affecting capital projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably mechanical), law, business administration or a related discipline
• 15 years of experience in contracts procurement and administration within the oil and gas sector
• Extensive experience across all phases of the contracting lifecycle, including solicitation, award, execution, administration and close-out
• Solid experience managing and negotiating EPC, EPCM, LSTK and service contracts, with a deep understanding of their commercial and legal implications
• Experience in risk management, claims analysis and dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration and litigation

Required skills

• Proficiency in contract management systems, ERP tools (SAP) and project management software
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco contracting policies, procedures, safety and legal requirements, and international contracting standards (preferred)
• Ability to manage contractor performance on scope, cost, schedule and quality
