Control Room Operator

About the role

Eram Talent, a division of ERAM Group and an independent talent acquisition consultancy, is recruiting a Control Room Operator for its client in the Oil & Energy sector, based in Jubail. The operator ensures the smooth operation of control systems and works closely with technicians and engineers while following safety guidelines and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate control systems, including control panels, consoles and computer systems, to manage and regulate the production process
• Adjust variables such as temperature, pressure and flow rates according to operational requirements
• Perform routine checks on equipment and make sure all systems function properly
• Identify and resolve issues or abnormalities that arise during operations
• Coordinate with technicians, engineers and other staff to carry out adjustments or repairs
• Prepare and maintain records, logs and reports on operational activities, incidents and equipment performance
• Follow safety regulations, standard operating procedures and industry best practices

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Control Room Operator in utility industries
• Familiarity with process plant operations, including pumps, compressors and turbines
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams and procedures
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of control systems, consoles, panels and computer-based systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with computer systems, data entry and software used for control operations
