Cost Controller – Hospitality Finance

About the role

Red Sea Global Hospitality is seeking a Cost Controller to ensure effective monitoring and control of all operational costs within its hotel operations. The role supports the business, guests, and colleagues by maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control food, beverage, and general store costs to drive profitability.
• Review and verify purchase orders, invoices, receiving records, and store requisitions for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and stock reconciliations for food, beverage, and operating supplies.
• Analyze cost variances, wastage, spoilage, and consumption patterns and report discrepancies to the Financial Controller.
• Ensure accurate recording of all inventory movements in inventory and accounting systems.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Kitchen, and Food & Beverage departments to enforce proper stock control procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost control reports and analyses for management review.
