Cost/Commercial Manager

About the role

KEO is seeking an experienced Cost/Commercial Manager to lead cost planning and financial control for large‑scale, 5‑star hospitality developments within mega projects. The role will bridge Tier‑1 contractor experience and consultancy expertise to ensure projects are delivered on budget and to luxury brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost management across multiple hotel, infrastructure, utilities, public realm, FF&E, OS&E and specialist packages.
• Monitor cost allocation, maintain cost control registers and ensure budgets align with scope, design, procurement and construction packaging.
• Review and validate cost estimates from consultants, contractors and specialist advisors, identifying risks, gaps and value‑optimisation opportunities.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, cash‑flow projections and cost‑to‑complete assessments.
• Track actual expenditure against approved budgets, flag potential overruns and recommend mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing commercial aspects of large‑scale construction projects.
• Background with Tier‑1 contractors before moving into consultancy.
• Proven track record delivering 5‑star hospitality developments within mega projects.
