Country Manager: Wellsite Services

About the role

The Country Manager will lead NOV Wellsite Services in Saudi Arabia, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environment (HSE) while delivering profitable and sustainable business performance across multiple service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Solids Control, Waste Management and Managed Pressure Drilling businesses across Saudi Arabia.
• Maintain the highest HSE standards in field operations, workshops, facilities and transportation.
• Own full P&L accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability and cost control.
• Manage working capital – receivables, inventory, asset utilization and unbilled revenue.
• Ensure safe, reliable and efficient service delivery in line with contractual and client requirements.
• Develop and motivate a local team, set clear objectives and build Saudi talent pipelines.
• Create and execute sales and business‑development plans for each service line, identifying new technologies and market opportunities.
• Lead major tenders, contract negotiations, pricing reviews and commercial proposals.
• Monitor business performance, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with NOV policies and Saudi regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of oilfield services experience, with at least five years in a senior leadership role carrying P&L responsibility.
• Proven experience in Solids Control, Waste Management, Managed Pressure Drilling or related drilling services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary operational, technical and commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of HSE leadership, service quality and risk management in oilfield operations.
• Experience developing sales strategies, leading tenders and growing service businesses in the Saudi market.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Saudi Arabia to client sites, workshops and field locations.
