Crane / Forklift Operator

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Crane/Forklift Operator for a rig site in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes and forklifts to lift, transport, load and position equipment, supplies and materials, while ensuring all lifting and material-handling activities comply with safety regulations and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cranes and forklifts to move equipment, materials and supplies safely within the rig site
• Carry out pre-operation inspections of cranes, forklifts and lifting accessories
• Follow approved lifting plans, load charts and rigging signals
• Ensure loads are properly secured, lifted and placed
• Maintain clear communication with riggers, signalmen and supervisors
• Comply with site safety rules, permits and standard operating procedures
• Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions or incidents immediately
• Maintain basic operation logs and inspection records

Required profile

• Valid crane operator and/or forklift operator certification or licence
• Proven experience operating cranes and forklifts in industrial or rig environments
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices and load limits
• Ability to follow hand signals and radio communication
• Physically fit to work in site and rig conditions
• Minimum 5 years of relevant operating experience preferred
