Credit & Collections Clerk

About the role

Medtronic's Credit & Collections function supports its business in Saudi Arabia by managing customer receivables, following up on payments, resolving account discrepancies and minimising credit risk. As a Credit & Collections Clerk III, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, follow up on overdue payments, reconcile balances and resolve invoice discrepancies. The role is based in Riyadh with a flexible work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments to support timely collections.
• Reconcile customer balances and resolve discrepancies involving invoices, payments and credit notes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Care and Finance to resolve disputes and remove payment barriers.
• Monitor payment commitments and escalate overdue accounts or potential credit risks in line with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, customer communications and account status.
• Prepare accounts receivable updates highlighting overdue balances, collection progress and required follow-up actions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, with at least two years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
• Experience in customer account reconciliation, overdue payment follow-up and invoice discrepancy resolution.
• Written and verbal business communication in Arabic and English.
• Preferred: experience in credit and collections within the healthcare or medical device industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Preferred: hands-on experience using SAP for accounts receivable activities and customer account reporting.
