Credit Risk Analyst Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented recent graduate to join our Credit Risk team as an Intern. This position offers hands‑on exposure to credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and fintech operations while working closely with experienced analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and organizing credit applications to ensure completeness of information and documentation.
• Support basic financial analysis by gathering data on applicant income, expenses, and liabilities.
• Identify missing information or inconsistencies in applications and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.
• Maintain accurate records of applications, decisions, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in data entry, reporting, and preparation of simple dashboards or summaries.
• Learn and apply internal credit policies, guidelines, and risk frameworks under supervision.
• Support the team in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Risk teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or final‑year student) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong academic performance with an interest in finance and risk management.
• Basic knowledge of financial concepts such as income, expenses, profit, and debt.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions and data handling).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
