Customs Clearance Agent

About the role

Join JD Logistics as a Customs Clearance Agent, responsible for managing import and export customs processes for shipments to and from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clearance of goods while supporting the broader supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee customs operations for KSA shipments, handling declaration submission, duty calculation and release management.
• Operate daily on customs platforms such as Fasah and Bayan, tracking shipment status and resolving exceptions.
• Validate customs documentation—including commercial invoices, packing lists, HS codes, declared values and country of origin—for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate regulatory approvals via SABER, SFDA, CITC, GACA and other government portals as required.
• Address customs clearance issues such as inspections, missing documents, declaration discrepancies and shipment holds, ensuring swift resolution.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, warehouse, transportation, finance and customers to resolve customs‑related challenges.
• Monitor updates to KSA customs regulations, identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian customs regulations and related government platforms.

Required skills

• Experience with Fasah customs platform.
• Experience with Bayan customs platform.
• Knowledge of SABER regulatory system.
• Understanding of SFDA procedures.
• Familiarity with CITC requirements.
• Awareness of GACA regulations.
