About the role

The Cyber Simulation Exercises Scenario Developer designs, builds, and delivers large‑scale cybersecurity simulation exercises such as Threat Hunting Events, Live‑Fire drills, and Capture‑the‑Flag challenges. The role creates realistic scenarios on a cyber‑range platform to enhance workforce cyber capability at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end cyber simulation exercises aligned with capability uplift goals, translating learning objectives into engaging storylines and measurable outcomes.
• Create complete exercise packages including facilitator guides, participant instructions, runbooks, timelines, scoring rubrics, and debrief materials.
• Produce realistic artifacts such as emails, chat transcripts, tickets, logs, alerts, and threat‑intel snippets.
• Develop and orchestrate technical and non‑technical injects, managing timing, escalation paths, and branching logic.
• Build and maintain lab environments, integrating security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS, email security, vulnerability scanners) and supporting Windows, Linux, AD, cloud, and endpoint configurations.
• Support exercise delivery, troubleshoot technical issues, capture telemetry, and generate post‑exercise reports with lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
