Data Management & Data Privacy Professional

About the role

ECOVIS Al Sabti is seeking a seasoned Data Management & Data Privacy Professional to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of data governance and privacy frameworks for its clients in Saudi Arabia. The role combines technical expertise with client‑facing responsibilities to ensure compliance with both local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and enhance data management and privacy frameworks aligned with standards such as DAMA DMBoK, ISO 27701, GDPR, KSA NDMO and PDPL.
• Manage client engagements, ensuring timely delivery, quality and adherence to project objectives.
• Develop and review data privacy controls, including data classification, handling, third‑party risk management, data flow mapping, RoPA and privacy impact assessments.
• Conduct maturity assessments, compliance reviews and audits to evaluate regulatory adherence.
• Lead workshops, awareness sessions and stakeholder engagements to promote effective data governance.
• Review deliverables, policies and procedures for consistency and professional standards.
• Support business development through proposal preparation and client presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of professional experience in technology, data management, data governance, data privacy or data security.
• Strong understanding of data management and governance frameworks and relevant regulations (e.g., DAMA, ISO 27701, GDPR, KSA NDMO, PDPL).
• Relevant certifications such as CDMP, CIPM, CDPO, CDPSE, CIPP are preferred.
• Proven ability to manage client projects and deliver on schedule.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
