Data Pipeline Engineer

About the role

NETbuilder is a global tech consultancy seeking a Data Pipeline Engineer to help clients across financial services, government, and commercial sectors. You will design, implement and maintain data logging and pipeline solutions while collaborating with stakeholders from end‑users to operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain data pipeline solutions using tools such as Cribl, Splunk or Elastic.
• Onboard complex data sources, develop custom parsing functions and perform transformations.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their data challenges and manage expectations.
• Provide pre‑sales consultation, customer training and adoption support.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Cribl best practices to ensure optimal delivery.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience with data logging/pipeline tools (Splunk, Cribl, Elastic).
• Proven ability to work with clients, gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Experience writing complex queries, parsers and handling data streams.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Desirable experience configuring large pipeline environments, using scripting languages, containers and cloud platforms.
