Deals, Infrastructure Finance Manager

About the role

PwC Middle East's Infrastructure Finance team, part of its global network of over 600 professionals, is hiring a Deals Manager in Riyadh. The team advises clients across the deal lifecycle, from strategy and concept development to deal closure, covering power and utilities, renewables, social infrastructure and transportation. As a manager you will scope and develop projects, implement procurement, structure deals and arrange finance for the private sector.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategy, concept development, feasibility studies, business plans and due diligence
• Structure deals and arrange finance, negotiate to financial close and assist with partnership management after award
• Support post-transaction services and project finance for long-term infrastructure development
• Provide public sector policy and strategy advice
• Manage client relationships daily, coach and develop junior team members and support business development
• Infrastructure planning, feasibility, business case and market analysis
• Procurement options analysis, risk assessment, project governance and commercial structuring of complex contracts
• Coordinate legal, financial and technical teams, manage procurement documents (RFQ, RFP, project agreements) and evaluate bids
• Project implementation advice through design and construction, including project controls

Required profile

• University degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law or a related discipline
• MBA or professional designation such as CFA or CPA is an asset
• 7-10 years of industry experience in Natural Resources, Transportation and/or Power & Utilities
• Experience in PPPs and their financing structures, and in procurement models and documents
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20%; government clearance required; work visa sponsorship available
