About the role

The Dean of IT will provide strategic and academic leadership for the College of Information Technology, ensuring the continuous development and quality of its programmes in line with the university’s objectives and industry needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the College of IT and its academic programmes.
• Develop and implement academic strategies and plans.
• Oversee faculty recruitment, performance, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality‑assurance standards.
• Promote research, innovation, and collaboration with the technology industry.
• Enhance student experience, academic quality, and graduate employability.
• Manage the College’s budget and academic resources.
• Represent the College in internal and external academic and professional engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic and academic leadership within an IT education environment.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee faculty recruitment, performance, and professional development.
• Knowledge of accreditation and quality‑assurance standards.
• Experience managing budgets and academic resources.
