Delivery Director – Tower Crane Operations (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Delivery Director will lead all tower crane and site operations for major construction projects across Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of crane activities, from planning and design through erection, maintenance, dismantling and continuous improvement, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage erection, dismantling, logistics, maintenance and supply‑chain activities for tower cranes.
• Ensure full compliance with BS 7121, LOLER and Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Develop and implement a site‑wide lifting and cranage strategy, prepare lift plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, monitor safe lifting procedures and oversee yard and storage operations.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, contractual KPIs, profitability targets and report performance to senior leadership.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff, maintain competence records and align manpower planning with HR.
• Promote a safety‑first culture, review accident investigations and maintain compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar delivery or crane‑operations leadership role.
• Strong project‑management background with in‑depth knowledge of tower crane operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or NVQ Level 6 equivalent.
• Excellent communication, leadership and people‑management abilities.
