Dental Assistant (General Practice) – Yanbu

About the role

The Dental Assistant provides complete chair‑side support to general and specialist dentists during clinical and surgical procedures. Working in an indoor clinic environment, the assistant ensures smooth patient flow, maintains equipment hygiene, and assists with post‑operative care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists in diagnostic, operative, surgical, periodontal, preventive, orthodontic, prosthodontic, endodontic and pedodontic procedures.
• Prepare and dismiss patients, clean and disinfect instruments, and manage supply orders.
• Retract cheeks and tissues, irrigate and aspirate mouth fluids, and practice four‑handed dentistry.
• Perform expanded‑duty procedures under dentist supervision and update patient medical histories.
• Document oral findings accurately in permanent charts and provide post‑operative instructions.

Required profile

• Diploma in a relevant dental field.
• 2‑5 years of clinical experience in a dental setting.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with Office & Health Information Systems.
