Dental Specialist (Pedodontist)

About the role

Magrabi Hospitals is seeking a qualified Dental Specialist (Pedodontist) to provide comprehensive oral care for children from their first dental visit up to approximately 18 years of age. The role involves delivering preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services in a clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, pulpotomies, root canal treatments, and stainless‑steel crowns.
• Provide fixed and removable orthodontic appliances to maintain space and correct abnormal occlusions or habits.
• Apply preventive fluoride treatments.
• Diagnose and treat diseases and abnormalities of the oral cavity in pediatric patients.
• Manage the full spectrum of dental care for children from initial visit through adolescence.

Required profile

• Dental degree (DDS or BDS) from an accredited dental school.
• Diploma or master’s degree from a recognized dental institution.
• At least three years of documented experience in pedodontics after the most recent degree.

Required skills

• Restorative dentistry: fillings, pulpotomies, root canal therapy, stainless‑steel crowns.
• Orthodontic appliance placement: fixed and removable devices.
• Preventive care: fluoride application.
• Pediatric oral diagnosis and treatment.
