About the role
The Derrickman position supports drilling and workover operations on oil and gas rigs. The role requires hands‑on involvement in rig activities while maintaining strict safety standards. Candidates will work closely with the driller and crew to ensure efficient and safe execution of tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assist and perform drilling operations on the rig.
- Support workover activities, ensuring equipment is correctly positioned.
- Collaborate with the driller and crew to maintain safety standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in drilling and workover operations, with proven proficiency as a roustabout and roughneck.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- H₂S (Hydrogen Sulfide) certification.
- Working knowledge of English sufficient for understanding safety instructions and communicating with the crew.
- Physically fit, able to work at extreme heights for extended periods and exercise sound judgment under pressure.
