Development Planning & Control Manager

About the role

The Development Planning & Control Manager will lead the planning and cost‑control functions for Golf Saudi’s development projects, ensuring schedules, budgets and reporting align with corporate standards and project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day development planning and project control activities, keeping them aligned with approved plans, budgets and timelines.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, cost plans, control trackers and progress reports to support decision‑making.
• Coordinate budget inputs, monitor cost performance against baselines and conduct variance analysis.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates, forecasts and planning assumptions for development projects.
• Monitor and control project expenses in collaboration with internal teams, consultants and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and escalate risks affecting cost, schedule and delivery performance.
• Produce periodic cost, planning and control reports ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Supervise and mentor team members responsible for cost planning, scheduling and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning, cost management and project control processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in development planning, project controls or construction management.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale schedules, cost tracking and reporting.
• Experience supervising and developing project control teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
