Director, Corporate Finance

About the role

The Corporate Finance Director leads the company’s finance function, overseeing budgeting, financial planning, analysis, management reporting, and working‑capital management. The role provides forward‑looking financial insight to support strategic decisions and reports directly to the CFO and executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget process, consolidate departmental budgets, and align assumptions with strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain short‑, medium‑ and long‑term financial plans, rolling forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Produce executive‑level commentary on revenue, profitability, operating costs, capital expenditures, cash flow and financial position.
• Coordinate with accounting to reconcile management reports with the general ledger and statutory statements.
• Manage working capital, cash conversion cycle, liquidity and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Support project and investment evaluations with financial analysis and risk assessment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading corporate finance, budgeting, FP&A and reporting functions.
• Proven ability to communicate financial insights to senior executives and board members.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of driving financial performance improvements.
