Director of Architecture (Riyadh)

About the role

This senior leadership position will head the Architecture division of a global multidisciplinary consultancy in Riyadh. The role is heavily focused on business development initially, with the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated team as the division expands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the growth strategy for the architecture division in Saudi Arabia.
• Identify new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships and secure major architectural commissions.
• Collaborate with regional and international leadership to shape the buildings offering.
• Lead client presentations, proposals and strategic business development initiatives.
• Build and develop an architecture team as the project pipeline grows.
• Take overall responsibility for the division's commercial performance, project delivery and long‑term development.

Required profile

• Senior architecture professional with a strong commercial background.
• Extensive network of clients, developers and decision‑makers in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record of business development and securing architectural projects.
• Experience building, managing and developing architectural teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently while leveraging global resources.
