Director of Housekeeping - Four Seasons Riyadh

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, located in the Kingdom Tower in the heart of Riyadh, is seeking a Director of Housekeeping. You will oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, presentation and safety, leading the Housekeeping team in delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining Four Seasons standards of service and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Housekeeping operation, including guest rooms, suites, public areas and other designated spaces
• Develop and implement departmental strategies, operating procedures and service standards aligned with Four Seasons policies
• Lead, recruit, train, develop and motivate the Housekeeping team, including performance management and succession planning
• Set departmental objectives and performance indicators, and prepare and present reports on budget, operations and performance to the Director of Rooms and hotel leadership
• Manage the department's annual budget, operating expenses and costs, and ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling
• Inspect rooms and public areas regularly, monitor guest feedback and complaints, and coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, Security and other departments
• Control inventory of supplies, linen, uniforms and equipment, and ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and chemical-handling requirements
• Oversee preventive maintenance and deep-cleaning schedules, promote sustainability, and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration or a related field preferred
• Significant experience in Housekeeping operations in a luxury hotel, including senior management leadership
• Proven ability to lead large teams and strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, room inspection and inventory management
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cost control and departmental financial management
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
